If arriving by car from the Montgomery airport, take a right onto Highway 80 and follow the signs to I-65 N Downtown. Take I-65 North Downtown exit and continue to the Herron Street Exit and turn left at the 3rd light (Bell Street). Bell Street has a main gate to Maxwell Air Force Base about 2 miles straight up the road.

The nearest regional airport is Montgomery Regional Airport, only 8 miles away. If arriving by car from this airport, take Highway 80 to Highway 31, and follow signs to Air Base Blvd.
